A Mobile Game Development Company is looking for a Senior Technical Artist to create exciting games. The active project is a mobile city-builder/farm game in the soft launch stage.

Team size and structure?

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position;

  • 2+ years of experience with graphics in Unity;

  • Integrate creative assets (art and visual effects) into the game;

  • Create precise 2D designs and animations in Unity according to existing mock-ups;

  • Analyze and optimize the design to satisfy art and performance needs or keep the balance between beautiful and fast;

  • Understanding of the Built-in and UR pipeline;

  • Experience with writing shaders and particle systems;

  • Experience with Unity Sprite Atlas and Addressables;

  • English skills enough to explain technical decisions to non-technical people.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Strong skills in Photoshop, Unity, After Effects;

  • A profound understanding of key-frame and 2D bone animation;

  • Production experience in Unity;

  • Experience with Unity’s Particle System;

  • Understanding of content creation/management pipelines for game production;

  • Experience working with both artists and engineers and understanding the gap between both disciplines;

  • Strong understanding of rendering pipeline (materials, draw-calls, batching, texture atlas);

  • Ability to analyze tech design performance-wise;

  • Ability to analyze and improve workflows to enhance group productivity;

  • Good spoken and written English;

  • Portfolio - is a must.

    Preferred

    • Experience creating and working with Shader Graph;

    • Experience with 3ds Max (Blender);

    • Understanding of 3D concepts.
