Head of Product / CPO (UAV, Miltech)

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in IT and game development and is currently looking for an experienced Head of Product / CPO for a Ukrainian miltech company developing UAV systems and ammunition that have been actively used on the frontline for several years.

We are looking for a leader who will build and scale a portfolio of products, including autonomous combat drones and logistics drones (middle shot / heavy shot / super heavy shot), interceptors, and munitions, ensuring rapid iteration, real-world effectiveness, and scalability. The company is moving toward autonomous systems, high-speed interceptors, integration of aerial and ground platforms, and the development of a unified ecosystem enabling coordination and interaction between drones.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and own product vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple UAV product lines

• Identify priority directions based on battlefield needs, market opportunities, and technological capabilities

• Translate mission-level tasks (combat / logistics / autonomy) into product strategy.

Portfolio & Product Leadership

• Manage multiple products / product lines (UAV, logistics drones, heavy drones)

• Build, lead, and scale a product organization (PMs, program managers, product ops)

• Define product priorities and resource allocation across initiatives

Discovery & Requirements

• Establish a systematic approach to collecting insights from: field units / operators, internal teams (R&D, production, BD).

• Ensure structured product artifacts: Vision / PRD / Roadmaps

• Translate battlefield “pain points” into scalable product decisions

Execution with R&D & Production

• Align R&D, engineering, and production around product goals

• Drive trade-offs: cost / time / risks / manufacturability / scalability

• Ensure delivery aligns with product strategy and real-world performance

Testing, Iteration & Performance

• Build a rapid iteration loop: field feedback → product improvements → deployment

• Define product success metrics: performance in real conditions, reliability, cost-efficiency

Systems & Product Processes

• Build and scale product management function in a miltech environment

• Establish: backlog & prioritization frameworks, product lifecycle processes, single source of truth for product data

Stakeholder & Executive Alignment

• Work directly with CEO and leadership

• Align product strategy with: business goals, international expansion, partnerships (government / defense).

• Strong background in miltech, UAV / drone experience

• Deep understanding of hardware lifecycle: prototype → testing → production → scaling
